Noah Dallaji : A Life Of Vision, Sacrifice And Dedicated Service

Vision, will power, foresight, camaraderie and sacrifice might just be words but they aptly describe the person and character of Engr. Noah N. Dallaji. His grass to grace story is one that has become inspirational for many a Nigerian youth, even as he continues his selfless and dedicated service to the nation.
Born in the quiet but rurally endowed village of Wumo, Dull ward , Bulla District in Tafawa Balewa local government of Bauchi State in 1978, Engr. Noah N. Dallaji made his mark when as a youngster he contributed enormously to his community's development as his penchant for communal development and service knew no bounds.
No sooner had he achieved his educational feats did he quickly establish his non governmental organisation , the African Children Talent Discovery Foundation (ACTDF).
With its headquarters situated at No 3 Ejura Close, Wuse 1, Abuja 708, Third Avenue, 44th Street, New York (NY) 10017, (US office), the ACTDF has through purposeful and visionary leadership carved a niche for itself in service to humanity and nationhood that it is today recognised by the United Nations in its Grade C affiliates category.
While Dallaji's imprints are internationally recognised especially by the United Nations, his contributions to his native country - Nigeria can only be described as multidimensional and multifaceted. Indeed, whether in philanthropy, educational supports, entertainment, craftsmanship, women empowerment, government partnerships, political emancipation and the fight against HIV and other deadly diseases, Dallaji through his ACTDF have impacted on millions of Nigerians's lives and sought to pull out thousands from poverty.
In a record breaking event for instance, the ACTDF in one fell swoop facilitated the award of scholarship to over 10,000 underprivileged children across the country in 2011. This is aside the numerous others who at different times continue to be sponsored at the instance of the NGO.
Also handy is the sister city linkage programme which Dallaji facilitated between Bauchi State and the city of Oakland in the United States. This partnership it must be stated, saw Bauchi State boosting its economic, agricultural, educational and sporting economies through numerous interventions of Oakland city, USA.

While his community projects are too numerous to mention, his women empowerment schemes, bore holes projects, schools buildings/renovation projects in communities like Kuru (Plateau), Ajegunle (Lagos), Bogoro (Bauchi), Gwange (Borno), Kuruduma (Abuja), Ilaje (Ondo), Imerienwe (Imo), enabled communities and a large number of Nigerians to be given hope and provided with life changing opportunities.
More exemplary, is the last "ACTDF Unleash Your Talent 2017" competition that Dallaji hosted through his ACTDF. Spread across all the geopolitical zones in the country at its preliminary stage before the grand finale which held in Port Harcourt, the event fished out raw youthful talents across the country, empowered them with cash and contracts in their chosen endeavours of singing, dancing and acting that as at today no fewer than 100 youths were exposed to industry gurus who have since helped these youths to have a footing in life.

A major player in the implementation of the United Nations millennium development goals and plans, Dallaji has attended several of UN programmes and acquainted with several partners from all parts of the world in the pursuance and implementation of some of these noble goals especially as it affects the civil society group. In 2012 for instance, Dallaji led an ACTDF 22 man team to attend the UN Rio 2012 which focused on sustaining Development Goals across the world. At the event, special sessions were held with the ACTDF and Dallaji playing pivotals roles especially as it concerns Africa and developing countries.
There is hardly any African head of state especially in recent time that Dallaji has not interfaced with. So also has he , on the ambassadorship of the ACTDF, numerous celebrities and stars who have joined him in projecting the welfare of African children.

The millennium development goals is where has been apt for Dallaji and where he draws a huge source of strength from. Given his vast network of resource and links as it relates to human, entrepreneurial, professional and material resources, Dallaji’s contribution to the success of the present government and indeed any others could be pivotal. His wealth of experience and knowledge is one that can only tapped for the greater benefit of this administration and the nation’s development at large.

A recipient of several awards both locally and internationally, Engr. Dallaji has been a member of several government and non governmental committees be it educational, institutional, manpower , sports , culture, transport sectors. His gentle nature has always seen him also sought for in reconciliatory and peaceful initiatives by the Federal States and local governments. Like Shakespeare posits, ” no great man lives in vain, for the history of the world is all about the history of great men”. A great man with vision lives in Dallaji. It is time his vast experience rubs off on the government
